Winter finally made an appearance on the farm, Mother Nature dumped 13 inches of the beautiful white stuff on us yesterday! Out and about today I snapped this shot of a field that was covered with corn a few months ago. 
Mount Washington was in the clouds but those that surround it sure did sparkle with the white stuff!
We received an e-mail from a customer yesterday where he mentioned that his snow storm tradition involves baking a pot of baked beans on his 1920’s cook stove. We love to hear about traditions that involve the products we grow. Do you have your winter supply of Soldier, Yellow Eye and Red Kidney Beans and potatoes? Happy Winter!
