A little snow and rain didn’t slow us down! Yesterday’s weather certainly left a little something to be desired, but the crew pushed forward on an exciting new project!
To better accommodate our crop and provide storage throughout the year we’ve decided to add a fourth storage building to our facility. The new building will have a state-of-the-art temperature control system. This system will allow us to constantly monitor and adjust the storage environment and make sure the potatoes remain in optimum storage conditions.
To us, the building represents more than just another place to store our potatoes after harvest, it also represents growth! This building will be one more tool in the arsenal allowing us to continue delivering only the highest quality potatoes to our customers year round.
Its amazing how far the potato industry has come. I remember as a young person growing up on the farm.( Charter & Sons ). My step father always had the state of the art equipment which made life a lot easier. The biggest concern being quality
