BBQ Festival was a success!

Western Maine BBQ Festival Many thanks to the hard working Green Thumb Farms team members who helped make our first BBQ Festival a success.  Thank you to Hannaford for inviting us to participate in this wonderful event.  We served up some delicious BBQ style baked beans to help customers understand what we do and where we come from in conjunction with Hannaford.  People were pleasantly surprised to find that we were located right in Fryeburg and grow potatoes and corn in addition to the beans.  We enjoyed meeting and talking to each and every patron and hope that we can continue to provide...

Finally Winter!

Winter finally made an appearance on the farm, Mother Nature dumped 13 inches of the beautiful white stuff on us yesterday!  Out and about today I snapped this shot of a field that was covered with corn a few months ago.  Mount Washington was in the clouds but those that surround it sure did sparkle with the white stuff!
